You could not meet a more likeable person than Paula. She is kind considerate and caring to both the hedgehogs and the people who are concerned about their welfare.
Being a teacher she has that special ability of teaching people without realising, and she is able to impart so much information you could talk about these creatures for ages. What she does not know is probably not worth knowing! Initially studying hedgehog care and welfare herself she now gives educational courses on various levels from basic to advanced and works closely with many organisations – Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Otley College, Norfolk Wildlife Trust to help raise public awareness. She has also given interviews on TV and radio.
You will often find Paula working well into the night caring in the hogspitals or coming up with another scheme to raise awareness for these endearing endangered creatures. The future for Suffolk Prickles she hopes will also involve some sort of research that will aid everyone’s knowledge.
